This is an excellent source of information. May 25, 1998 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
This is an excellent source of information for people who want to start a crayfish farming business. It covers all aspects, including pond and tank culture, sexing, feeding requirements, and sources for crayfish.
Both this book and Red Claw! are great. October 30, 1998 Terri Primavera (primocoach@aol.com) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
Both this book and the Red Claw book were great! I stayed up really late perusing them last night. I'm hoping to visit a couple of local farms in the near future in the hopes to learn more about starting my own crayfish farm.
Great book on Crayfish February 21, 2009 Connie D. Peters (Saint Augustine, Fl) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very detailed, yet simple to understand. A lot of drawing and information and written in a manner that even someone new to crayfish raising could understand. Lots of good info and expertise. AA++

Book is very informative. Am using it to construct crayfish habitat to grow them as a supplement to our food storage.
Overpriced, poorly published June 19, 2008 Lisa Kearns (North Carolina, USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This "book", while it does have some good information on crayfish farming, isn't a good value. It's 50 pages, 8"x5", cheaply printed, with varying fonts, smears, poor graphics, and haphazard layout. Some sections are nothing more than a collection of sentences pasted together from other sources. At the most, I'd call this a booklet.
There are also several pages containing nothing but a recipe for crayfish. I don't think recipes belong in this book, especially when they seem to be just page fillers.
I gave this booklet three stars because it does give some decent information on food, moulting stages, water pH, etc. But information available free on the Internet will tell you just as much, without the $11 plus postage price.
